Submitting a General Request

General Requests allows for managing incoming requests for assistance from your organization.

To Access General Requests:

  1. Select Requests from the Administration modules on the Salute landing page Screen Shot 2022-07-26 at 3.20.13 PM

  3. From the General Requests landing page, users can:
    1. Select an individual request to see more detail or create a new requestScreen Shot 2022-09-28 at 9.42.47 AM
    2. Filter the list by selecting a column header (can do multiple filters) to see a select list of itemsScreen Shot 2022-09-28 at 9.39.38 AM

  4. Once an item has been selected or created, users can:
    1. Overview
      1. Choose the Type of General RequestScreen Shot 2022-09-28 at 9.48.45 AM
        1. Admin Internal- Used to assign tasks related to administrative processes, rather than safety workflows
        2. Community- Often these will come from the Community Portal, but can also be created by users if a request is called in, emailed, or otherwise communicated
        3. EHS Request- Used to assign tasks related to safety to a member of the team
      2. Date/Time Requested
      3. Requested By
      4. Also Notified: People listed here will receive email notifications for the task
      5. Location
      6. Description: A description of the request being made

      1. Internal Notes
      2. Safety Programs

  5. Once a Request has been created and Assigned, the Assigned To person will receive a notification about the request
  6. Once the Assigned To user has confirmed that the Request has been actioned appropriately, the user can Resolve the Request
    1. If either the Assigned To of Requester needs additional information or wants to provide information, they can use the comments fields which will trigger email notifications once submitted.
