[Management](https://support.salutesafety.com/knowledge/user-guides#management) # Updating and Creating Tableau Metrics Dashboards with Salute ## Metrics dashboards on the Salute Safety platform are designed to get you and your team information on the work being done in Salute. For viewing, exporting, and filtering existing embedded Metrics dashboard, please view **[THIS](https://support.salutesafety.com/knowledge/metrics)** user guide instead. To access Tableau directly, use the credentials from your Customer Success Manager to sign in here: *[https://www.salute-tableau.link/#/home](https://www.salute-tableau.link/#/home)* ### Getting to Know Tableau Server Metrics dashboards are edited using Tableau Server. Changes made on the server will show on the Salute platform for all users after being published. From the lefthand menu, navigate to Explore to view all projects you have access to or create a new one. After clicking your desired dashboard, you will see all Workbooks associated with it under the "Views" tab. These translate to tabs in the Metrics view. "Data Sources" contain all the data structures connected to a given project. "Custom Views" show any saved views (pre-filtered dates, Assessment Types, Responsible Person, etc.). The menu on the lefthand side shows which Sheets are connected to the workbooks in the project. The visualizations will connect to a Sheet and the Sheets will connect to data sources. Starting an entirely brand new report from the Explore page, click New and Workbook. If the Data Source is missing, let your Customer Success Manager know or submit a support ticket to gain further access to the data. ### Salute Ins and Outs There are a few labels in Tableau that don't line up with their Salute counterparts.
